The ezstream port has been updated to version 1.0.2.
|
|
|
|
The configuration file is located at:
|
|
${PREFIX}/etc/ezstream/ezstream.xml
|
|
|
|
Several example configuration files are now available in the examples directory:
|
|
${PREFIX}/share/examples/ezstream/
|
|
|
|
To configure ezstream, copy one of the example files to ${PREFIX}/etc/ezstream/ezstream.xml:
|
|
|
|
# cp ${PREFIX}/share/examples/ezstream/ezstream-minimal.xml ${PREFIX}/etc/ezstream/ezstream.xml
|
|
|
|
After copying an example configuration, ensure the file has correct permissions:
|
|
|
|
# chmod 0600 ${PREFIX}/etc/ezstream/ezstream.xml
|
|
|
|
Then edit the file to suit your needs.
|
|
|
|
Available examples:
|
|
- ezstream-minimal.xml (minimal configuration for Ogg streaming)
|
|
- ezstream-full.xml (full configuration with all options)
|
|
- ezstream-metadata.xml (configuration with metadata updates)
|
|
- ezstream-stdin.xml (stream from standard input)
|
|
- ezstream-video.xml (video streaming configuration)
|
|
- ezstream-file_template.xml (file template configuration)
|
|
|
|
Additionally, a new utility 'ezstream-cfgmigrate' is available to help migrate
|
|
old configuration files to the new format. See ezstream-cfgmigrate(1) for more details.
|
|
|
|
The rc.d script now runs ezstream in the background by default.
|
|
To enable and start the service:
|
|
|
|
sysrc ezstream_enable=YES
|
|
service ezstream start
|
|
|
|
For verbose output (foreground mode), add the -v flag to ezstream_flags:
|
|
|
|
sysrc ezstream_flags="-v"
|
|
|
|
